Christine Ann Jacobs of Corona del Mar and Thomas Edward Marr of
Corona del Mar exchanged vows at St. John Vianney Church in Balboa
Island on Aug. 2.
The bride wore a gown designed by Teem Acra.
The matron of honor was Tracy Teteak. The bridesmaids were Molly
Tuttle, Julie Baker and Nancy Jaszkowiak.
The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Phyllis Marr of Newport
Beach. The best man was Patrick Marr. The ushers were Mark Jacobs,
Keith Dicarlo and Tom Beusse.
The reception took place at the Balboa Yacht Club with 200 guests.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Fiji. The couple plans to live in
Corona del Mar.
The bride works as a principal of North Star Advisory Services.
The groom is the owner of MCM Construction Management.
The Woodfords
Betty and George Woodford celebrated their 60th anniversary on
Dec. 7. They were high school sweethearts. The couple plans to take
all of their family on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera.
The couple has lived in Newport Beach since 1960. They have two
sons and four grandchildren.
George Woodford was a night fighter pilot during Word War II and
the Korean War. He is a retired president of Newport National Bank.
Betty Woodford is an avid golfer at Big Canyon Country Club.
