Tennis tourney deadline today

Today marks the final day of registration for the Round Robin

Tennis Social to be held Saturday at Alta Laguna Park.

The event will run from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Player entry fee is $25 and registration will be taken today at

the Laguna beach Recreation Department.

Tennis competition will be held in men’s doubles and women’s

doubles and will be followed by mixed doubles tournament play.

Soccer camp registration continues

Registration continues to be taken for local youngsters interested

in attending two upcoming Future Stars Soccer camps hosted by AYSO

Region 86 of Laguna Beach.

The camps are open to boys and girls ages 5 to 14.

The first camp debuts Monday and will run through Aug. 1. It is

the first Future Stars Camp to be held this summer in Orange County.

The second camp will run Aug. 25 to 29.

Both camps will be held at Alta Laguna Park.

Half-day sessions run between 8:30 a.m. and noon and also between

1 and 4:30 p.m., at a cost of $95 per camper.

Full-day sessions, in which a camper brings a lunch, runs between

8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily, at a cost of $170 per camper.

The camps follow AYSO guidelines.

Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, certificate and snacks.
