Team L.A. takes care of Terminators

Jason Lally netted five goals and Team L.A. picked up another victory

in Howe Division play, beating the Terminators, 8-5, at Coast 2 Coast

Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Evan Johnson posted two goals and assisted another, Trevor Scott

scored once and Derek Loh had a match-high three assists.

Noah Johnson had 24 saves.

Ryan Voorhies led the Terminators with two goals, Kyle Finney

scored once with a pair of assists and Slater Ott and Justin Williams

scored goals.

Ian Arnold had 19 saves.

In other games:

Sharks 3, Penguins 1

Matt Terrell scored twice, Steven Sallack had two assists and

Nolan Smith scored once for the Sharks.

Derek Peters finished with 13 saves.

Joshua Ishizaki scored a first period goal and Kyle Macleod had 33

assists for the Penguins.

Ice Dogs 5, Lazers 3

Trevor Whitecotton paced the Ice Dogs with three goals and

Christian Mohl and Michael Thomas each scored once.

Joshua Swafford recorded 18 saves.

For the Lazers, Bryce King scored twice, Mason Woodson scored once

and Corey Jones had 25 assists.

Stars 2, Slugs 1

Patrick Shearer’s third period score broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Stars to victory.

Kyler Scott had the other Stars goal and Zachary Beko gave up just

one goal and recorded 25 saves.

Eric Sakaida scored and Sam Hart had 17 saves to lead the Slugs.
