Yanks rally past Dodgers, 7-6

Jason Allen singled home Matt James with the winning run in the
bottom of the sixth inning, capping a three run rally by the Yankees as
they pulled out a 7-6 decision over the Dodgers in Fountain Valley Little
League Majors Division play at Mile Square Park.
James singled twice and had an RBI, and Dorian Chavez doubled and hit
an RBI single to pace a Yankees’ hitting attack that also featured a pair
of singles by Robert Harrison and a hit and RBI by David McClelland.

Cardinals 7, Royals 5
Like the Yankees, the Cardinals also staged a late inning rally,
scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to wipe out a 4-1
deficit.
Robert Pearce had a two-run double and Kyle Craft and Andrew Bender
each had RBI doubles to lead the Cardinals.
Freddie Estrada singled and doubled and Erik Rhoten had an RBI single
for the winners.
Alex Moreno and Eric Dyson each had an RBI, and Dustin Jamison and Les
Obie each doubled for the Royals.
Mariners 4, Marlins 2
Jessey Cordero singled and doubled, and Michael Britt and Martin Duran
each had RBI singles as the Mariners handed the Marlins their first loss
of the second half race in the Majors Division.
