Behind the one hit pitching of Casey Becker and Scott Schauer, the
Brewers blanked the Dodgers, 5-0, to move a step closer to securing the
second half title in Majors Division competition at Robinwood Little
League.
Becker and Schauer combined to strike out 14 Dodgers, with Garrett
Kaplan’s single accounting for the lone Dodger hit.
The Brewers jumped out to a 2-0 first inning lead on Adam Duffis’
two-RBI double.
It was the second win of the week for the Brewers, who also defeated
the Yankees, 8-1. In that win, Josh Votaw had two hits, and the pitching
duo of Becker and Schauer once again shut down the opposition on three

Gray Bailey singled twice, and Ryan Magney, who made the defensive
play of the game with a great catch on the run in right field, had the
other Yankee hit.
