The Taz runs away to 11-1 victory

Rocco Grimaldi scored four goals and assisted two others to lead a

potent scoring attack by The Taz, who ran away with an 11-1 victory over the Predators Tuesday in Atom Club Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline

Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Eight other members of the The Taz also had a hand in the lopsided win,

with Gregory Williams and Kevin Cant each scoring once with an assist.

Grimaldi now has a team-high 12 goals scored in four games.

The victory kept The Taz atop the division standings at 3-1.

Keith Dickson scored off a shared assist by John Thompson and Joseph

Francis for the Predators, now 1-2-1.

In other games:

Flyers 9, Accelerators 6

Erick Anderson scored twice with two assists, Emilio Castellano and Adam

Anderson each scored twice with an assist, Paul Anderson scored twice,

and Ryan Daley scored once to power the Flyers (2-1-1). Joseph

Burkhardt’s two goals paced the Acceleratos (1-3), who also received

single goals from Colten Daigneault (one assist), Trent Zaks, Jamie

Schlegel, and Michael Thistle.

Stampede 3, Accelerators 2

Jeremy Jennings, Matthew Janssen, and Andrew Jackson all scored for the

Stampede (1-2); David Loy scored once with an assist to lead the

Accelerators.
