ISSUE: Capital improvements
VOTE: 5-0
SUMMARY: The board voted to accept information regarding the 2000-2001
proposed capital improvement projects.
During the past six years, district administrators have developed a
strategic plan for selecting such projects. The first method for
prioritizing projects is the creation of a Summer Projects List, which
outlines improvements for each school site. The second method is called a
Wish List, which outlines priority projects districtwide.
The final method for prioritizing is referred to as a program basis,
which includes facility requirements to implement a certain program.
