Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle wed Saturday, and with all the stories, scoops and excitement surrounding the royal union, one question always remained: What will Markle’s dress look like? The wait is over, and to celebrate, we’re looking back at some of the most mesmerizing royal wedding gowns through the years.
Princess Elizabeth, daughter of King George VI, wed the Duke of Edinburgh in a long-sleeve stunner, paired with an exquisite veil, designed by Norman Hartnell. She became Queen Elizabeth II in 1952.
