3 teens charged with defacing American flag in California

Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of defacing three U.S. flags at a senior community center in Oceanside, California.
Breanna Serrato, Daniel Moran and Ruben Jimenez--all 18--are in jail after being arrested by Oceanside police. Their arraignment is tentatively set for Thursday in San Diego County Superior Court.
Surveillance cameras caught three people spray-painting graffiti, a gang monicker and an epithet on the flags at the senior center. The incident occured after 11 p.m. July 18.
One of the three was wearing a hat with a Baltimore Orioles logo and another had a hat with a marijuana leaf design, police said.
Jimenez is also charged with car theft, according to jail records.
