Newly married Eddie Fisher and Elizabeth Taylor walk in Portofino, Italy, on May 20, 1959. They arrived at the famed bathing resort on their yacht the “Olingo” during the night, and went shopping. It was afterward said that Taylor had spent $800 on sweaters and bathing suits while Eddie only spent a $1.50 on a sun hat.
