Earthquake: Magnitude 3.0 quake strikes near Hollywood

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Saturday morning two miles from Hollywood according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:13 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was three miles from Los Angeles, four miles from Glendale, four miles from West Hollywood and 357 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there have been three earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
