Ex-teacher arrested on suspicion of molesting children at school

Reporting from San Diego — A former elementary school teacher in San Diego County was arrested Thursday on suspicion of molesting several children on campus, sheriff’s officials said.
Robert Anderson, 48, who taught fourth and sixth grade at Dehesa Elementary School in El Cajon, was arrested at his home in San Diego without incident, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Authorities said the alleged incidents occurred between 2003 and 2013.
Bail was set at $800,000. An arraignment is scheduled for Monday in San Diego County Superior Court.
