Paramount High School, Roosevelt Elementary School and Wirtz Elementary School were placed on lockdown while deputies and investigators searched the area near Century Boulevard and Downey Avenue.
According to a sheriff’s statement, the suspect was a 25-year-old man. Auner said he was arrested about 3:45 p.m. He had no further information.
