$10,000 reward offered in fatal Long Beach shooting

Los Angeles County is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who shot 19-year-old Sidney Wallace to death a year ago.
Wallace, a resident of Los Angeles, and two others were shot about 9:15 p.m. March 28, 2013, as they were standing at a parking lot adjacent to an apartment complex in the 200 block of East Hill Street in the South Wrigley area of Long Beach.
Police found Wallace with multiple gunshot wounds in the upper body. He was pronounced dead at scene by fire paramedics. The two other victims were taken to nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wallace was one of 40 people killed in Long Beach in 2013, according to the L.A. Times’ homicide report.
Long Beach police detectives said Wallace was not a gang member. They were also unable to obtain a description of the suspects or of any vehicle involved.
