L.A. Now Live: Discuss the California Democratic convention
- Share via
Join Times staff writer Seema Mehta for an L.A. Now Live discussion at 12:30 p.m. Monday about the California Democratic convention, including what issues were raised and which ones created debate.
State Democrats broke with Gov. Jerry Brown on Sunday by calling for the legalization of marijuana and a ban on “fracking.”
Mehta and Times staff writer Michael Finnegan say the breach highlights the tensions between the more liberal impulses of party loyalists and the more moderate tone of a Democratic governor.
Mehta can answer questions about the convention, which issues are going to be important in coming elections and how the party showed itself.
Before the chat starts at 12:30 p.m., feel free to tweet questions to @aribloomekatz for Mehta to answer during the chat, or comments that you want other readers to see.
During the chat, you can still tweet questions to @aribloomekatz, or you can enter your questions and comments directly into the interface, where you will see the chat on the L.A. Times homepage.
See you all at 12:30 p.m. for L.A. Now Live!
