Deer on Golden Gate Bridge bring traffic to screeching halt
- Share via
Traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge came to a standstill during Friday rush hour because of an unlikely pair: Two deer.
Photos of the deer started appearing on social media about 5:30 p.m. as motorists commented on how cute the deer were despite the annoying traffic jam.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deer were off the bridge, safely, by 6:10 p.m. and traffic was starting to move again.
