Earthquake: 2.6 quake strikes near San Dimas

A shallow magnitude 2.6 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning one mile from San Dimas, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:37 a.m. PDT at a depth of 1.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was one mile from La Verne, two miles from Pomona and three miles from Diamond Bar.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
