Los Angeles City Councilman Gilbert Cedillo represents District 1. Cedillo previously represented the 46th District in the California State Assembly in 1998, was elected to the state Senate in 2002 and elected to the 45th District in 2010. He won his City Council seat in 2013. District 1 includes all or parts of the neighborhoods of Glassell Park, Cypress Park, Highland Park, Mt. Washington, Solano Canyon, Elysian Park, Echo Park, Westlake, Angelino Heights, Temple Beaudry, Chinatown, Forgotten Edge, Lincoln Heights, Montecito Heights, Pico Union, Adams-Normandie, University Park, Victory Heights, Koreatown, Mid Cities and Mac Arthur Park. Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Krekorian represents District 2. In 2006, Krekorian was elected to the California State Assembly, representing the 43rd District. Bob Blumenfield was elected to the Los Angeles City Council in March 2013. He represents District 3, which spans the northwest portion of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley, including the communities of Canoga Park, Reseda, Tarzana, Winnetka and Woodland Hills. City Councilman Tom LaBonge represents District 4, which includes such landmarks as Griffith Observatory, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Hollywood Bowl, the Los Angeles River, the Original Farmers Market, Universal Studios and the Hollywood sign.
