Department stores and boutiques aren’t the only places slicing prices this holiday season. Local day spas are full of specials:

Kate Somerville Ongoing until Wednesday: This celebrity haven is giving customers a “buy one get one free” gift card offer on facial services. The signature 75-minute treatment with fruit enzyme exfoliation and an acupressure massage enters the affordable range when the regular price, $135, buys two sessions. For dry winter skin, a “DermalQuench” ($260) uses hyperbaric pressurized oxygen to soften lines and diminish dark circles around eyes. The DermaLucent high-tech facial ($185) stimulates collagen and improves skin tone with red LED light.
