City attorney race: An article in the April 1 LATExtra section about ethics charges being traded by Los Angeles City Atty. Carmen Trutanich and challenger Mike Feuer incorrectly stated the terms of Feuer’s new contract with campaign consulting firm Shallman Communications. The contract provides three installments of $15,000, not three $50,000 payments, according to Feuer’s campaign.
Phil Ramone: An obituary in the March 31 California section on prominent music producer Phil Ramone reported his birth year as 1931. According to his family and public records, he was born in 1934 and was 79 when he died.
