Sochi Olympics: What to expect on Saturday [Video]

Times Deputy Sports Editor John Cherwa and Chicago Tribune sports editor Mike Kellams will be supplying a daily video log from Sochi, previewing each day of the Winter Olympics.
On Saturday, you can expect the women’s portion of the new Olympic team figure skating event.
For the U.S., “Ashley Wagner is what everybody will be looking for,” Cherwa said. “She had a terrible performance at nationals and we are going to see if they made the right choice to put her on the team.”
Another new event debuts: men’s slopestyle.
“Shaun White has pulled out of that,” Kellams says. “A very late scratch that has left the Americans one down, but he said he wants to concentrate on making history in the halfpipe. If he won the gold, that would be three in a row.”
Watch the video to get their comments on women’s hockey and women’s moguls.
