Four walls and a bed
Project 50 had a bold objective: to save skid row’s 50 most vulnerable homeless people from death on the pavement, give them a place to live and all the help they’d accept. The project reflected the radical and controversial new face of national homelessness efforts. “Whatever it takes” would be the motto.
