“SOA” carved some deep ratings tracks this year. Tuesday’s episode, titled “A Mother’s Work,” was the second highest-rated ever for the series among viewers ages 18 to 49, exceeded only by the premiere earlier this season. That season premiere was the highest-rated telecast in the history of FX.
Overall, “SOA” has averaged 7.3 million total viewers this season. It was the No. 3 drama in 18 to 49 on cable TV this year, behind only “The Walking Dead” and “Breaking Bad.”
