Singing nun spurs jaw-dropping reaction on ‘The Voice of Italy’
- Share via
A singing, swaying, amazing nun stunned judges in a recent performance on “The Voice of Italy.” Video of 25-year-old Sister Cristina Scuccia has gone viral on YouTube, and it’s a clip that needs no translation. Watch it above.
The judges/coaches on the reality singing competition have their backs to her. Rotating one’s chair means you’re interested in having a singer on your team. As Scuccia gives a top-tier performance of “No One” by Alicia Keys, the first judge turns his chair, and his mouth drops open.
The “Voice of Italy” describes the contestant this way: “Her childhood dream was to become a singer, in 2008 the Orsolina Sisters organize a music hall in which she finds herself by chance. A non-believer, and against the Church ... she instead finds Love.”
Scuccia has to choose whose team she’s going to be on.
Who will it be? The moist-eyed judge who was the first to turn his chair? Watch to find out.
