Eric Church and Little Big Town lead the pack of nominees for this year’s Country Music Assn. Awards, organizers announced Wednesday.
The hard-rocking singer and the coed quartet each have five nominations, with Church up for the most prestigious prize, entertainer of the year, and both acts nominated for single of the year and musical event of the year.
Miranda Lambert and Kenny Chesney each received four nods, while Sam Hunt, Maddie & Tae, Kacey Musgraves and Chris Stapleton each got three.
For entertainer of the year, which Luke Bryan won in 2014, Church’s competition includes Bryan, Chesney, Lambert and Garth Brooks. (See the full list of nominees here.)
The 49th CMA Awards will be held Nov. 4 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are set to host the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on ABC.
