Last year, Spike Lee elevated the thriller with his bank heist drama “Inside Man.” Will he succeed again with his first-ever war epic? Lee’s “Miracle at St. Anna,” adapted from the James McBride novel of the same name, tells the story of the African-American soldiers in the 92nd Division (known then as Buffalo soldiers) during World War II.

Still unsure whether or not to talk about: “Worst Week”
CBS’ “Worst Week” is based on the British sitcom “The Worst Week of My Life,” which is sort of like “Meet the Parents.” Cases of vomiting and urinating for laughs both make it into the pilot, so we’re not too hopeful. But series creator Matt Tarses makes us think again; he produced smart series “Scrubs” and “Sports Night.”
