So just how did Brandy get the heave-ho from "Dancing With the Stars," when she nailed a perfect score in November, while Bristol Palin (who came in last with the judges) stayed? It was enough to make one Wisconsin man mad enough to shoot his TV (it's uncanny how his hunting skills are on a par with Sarah Palin's). Here's why Brandy went home and Bristol Palin kept on dancing.

Eva's big split

Eva Longoria filed for divorce this week from short-time husband Tony Parker. Parker recently signed a $50-million contract with the San Antonio Spurs, where he serves as point guard. Where did it all go wrong? We think it was just about the moment that Eva discovered hundreds of text messages between Tony and Erin Barry, wife of former Spurs teammate Brent Barry. Gibson's daddy drama

What’s in the best interest of a child? Giving Daddy custody? Even when he’s busted for a DUI, allegedly made one racist comment after the next, and allegedly popped mom in the face a couple of times? It sounds ludicrous, but that’s not stopping Mel Gibson from filing for full custody of baby Lucia, his child with Oksana Grigorieva. Bill Nye, the fainting guy

Bill Nye the Science Guy did something quite unexpected while lecturing to hundreds at USC this week; he fainted. After coming round, he compared himself to Lady Gaga. But then things got even more bizarre. When Nye collapsed, instead of leaping to his aid, most of the students in the room just started texting and tweeting. The good news is, Bill got back on his feet and finished the lecture. Sounds like a new lecture on how to help people out who FAINT RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU might be a great next move.
