Hollywood Headlines: A crazy week in review
It was one red flag after another --
An arsonist is reportedly on the loose in Hollywood, responsible for up to 19 fires Thursday night. Perhaps the most high-profile locale to go up in smoke was Jim Morrison’s old house at 8021 Rothdell Trail in West Hollywood. The three-story home he once shared with girlfriend Pamela Courson was built in 1922 and is most famous for inspiring the Doors’ hit song “Love Street.” The blaze started around 1:20 a.m., and it took 56 firefighters nearly 35 minutes to extinguish, but in the end the house was saved. Sinead O’Connor’s whirlwind wedding to Barry Herridge ended with a “wild ride” in Las Vegas and what sounds like irreconcilable differences. Sixteen days after tying the knot in Sin City, O’Connor announced the split, explaining later that her drug-counselor husband wasn’t down with a post-wedding hunt for weed, especially when they found them selves in a shady part of town with a bag of crack.
