Kirstie Alley and her “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Makism Chmerkovskiy took an embarrassing fall on Monday during an emotional performance to “Over the Rainbow.” But, rest assured, it will take more than Maks getting a “charlie horse” to keep this dynamic duo down. In fact, it was Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani who got booted this week. (Adam Taylor / Associated Press)
Ashley Judd dropped a bombshell on her famous mother, Naomi, and sister, Wynonna, this week in a new tell-all called “All That Is Bitter & Sweet.” Just when we thought the Judd family skeletons were out of the closet, Ashley reveals details of drug use, sexual abuse and neglect. Nothing is off limits--from Naomi lying about the identity of Wynonna’s father to Ashley being molested at a pizza parlor. Despite the accusations, the family remains supportive. Wynonna recently told Barbara Walters on “The View,” “People are trying to almost pit us against each other and I want to come out and say, Listen, we agree to disagree in our family, but we show up and support each other for who we are.”

Bristol Palin‘s teen pregnancy really paid off ... to the tune of $262,500. It turns out her recent abstinence campaign for the Candie’s Foundation was quite profitable for the single mom and daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. While Palin is being criticized for milking her celebrity status, Candie’s is getting it even worse. The organization reportedly paid Palin seven times more than the amount spent on other prevention programs. Sounds like a sweet Candie deal gone sour. (Stephan Savoia / Associated Press)
“The Hunger Games” fans have spoken, and they aren’t very happy. Casting news for the new film should have been a reason to celebrate, but readers were underwhelmed on Monday by the announcement that Josh Hutcherson would play Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) fellow District 12 contestant Peeta, and Liam Hemsworth will play her best friend Gale. What’s the problem? You name it. Height, hair color and age, to name a few.
So far Lionsgate isn’t doing anything to address the bad buzz, except issue more press releases hyping the actors. Yay. (From left: Liam Hemsworth. Credit: Frederick M. Signing a pre-nup seems like a no-brainer for Prince William and Kate Middleton, but the couple is reportedly skipping the agreement. Not because it doesn’t make sense but mainly because they aren’t considered 100% legally binding in Britain.
In even bigger news, the couple has been immortalized as Pez dispensers (hand-sculpted heads with machine-made bodies), which are being auctioned off for charity. The money raised will benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation, but bidders will need to pay a pretty penny for the candy collectibles. So far the price has topped 6,000 pounds (more than $10,000). (Peter Morrison / Associated Press)
There’s a Hollywood baby boom!
First there’s Tina Fey, who revealed during a taping of the “Oprah Show” that she is five months along with her second child. It’s been a big week for Fey, considering she just released her new book, “Bossypants,” and her “30 Rock” costar Alec Baldwin was starting rumors about the show ending (which he later “clarified.” )
Meanwhile, “Your Highness” actor Danny McBride made his baby announcement on late-night TV, telling Conan O’Brien, “I had never impregnated anyone before. So I didn’t really realize that what they teach you in health class is actually true. That’s all it takes.”
Then there’s “Law & Order: SVU’s” Mariska Hargitay, who told People this week that she and husband Peter Hermann just adopted a baby girl named Amaya Josephine. Also celebrating a new bundle of joy is former NFL wide receiver Curtis Conway and wife Laila Ali, who gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Sydney. (Photo: Mariska Hargitay, credit: Jay L.
