Nothing on the major networks came close to beating a rerun of CBS’ hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory” in the ratings Thursday night. According to early numbers from Nielsen, the show drew nearly 11 million viewers and a rating of 2.6 in the advertiser-desired 18-49 age group.
That propelled CBS to a ratings win on a quiet night, with an average of 6.47 million people watching and a 1.4 rating among key young adults. CBS also had repeats of the Will Arnett comedy “The Millers” and “Elementary.”

ABC and NBC tied in the key demo with each earning a 1.1 for the night. The former aired a rerun of “Shark Tank” before getting into the two-hour “20/20” special “Secrets of the Castle: Beyond Downton Abbey,” which drew an average of 4.8 million viewers and a 1.0 in 18-49. NBC’s two-hour “The Women of SNL” rebroadcast drew 4 million viewers and a rating of 1.3.
Fox aired reruns of “Glee” during prime time.
