Adam Carolla’s place in Malibu for sale at $3.99 million

Funnyman Adam Carolla has his Malibu getaway up for sale at $3.99 million.
The 2-acre ocean-view property includes a main house, a guesthouse and a swimming pool with a spa. Vaulted ceilings, skylights and two fireplaces are among features of the 2,810 square feet of living space. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The master suite includes a dressing area that can double as an office.
Carolla, 50, started hosting “The Adam Carolla Show,” a daily podcast series, in 2009. Before that it was a radio show. The actor/producer/writer has scores of credits including writing for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (2003), voicing the part of Death on “Family Guy” (2000-14) and executive producing this year’s series “Catch a Contractor.”
He paid $3.6 million for the property in 2007 and had listed it earlier at $4.495 million.
