No. 6 Virginia Tech 34, at Duke 26: Tyrod Taylor threw two long touchdown passes and the Hokies (4-1, 2-0) dodged a letdown and beat the Blue Devils (2-3, 0-1). Taylor was 17 for 22 for a career-high 327 yards.
at Wake Forest 30, North Carolina State 24: Riley Skinner threw three touchdown passes to become Wake Forest’s career leader, the defense ended Russell Wilson’s NCAA record streak by intercepting him twice, and the Demon Deacons (3-2, 0-1) beat the Wolfpack (3-2, 0-1).
at Boston College 28, Florida State 21: Montel Harris broke free up the middle for a 42-yard touchdown run with 4:07 left -- his second score of the game -- and the Eagles (4-1, 2-1) recovered after blowing an 18-point lead to beat the Seminoles (2-3, 0-2).
Virginia 16, at North Carolina 3: Mikell Simpson ran for the game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter while the Cavaliers’ (1-3, 1-0) defense turned in a dominating performance to beat the Tar Heels (3-2, 0-2).
at Maryland 24, Clemson 21: Chris Turner passed for two touchdowns and the Terrapins (2-3, 1-0) took advantage of two late missed field-goal attempts by the Tigers (2-2, 0-2).
