A Detroit man was sentenced to two to 10 years in prison for taking a woman’s car after skipping out on the restaurant check on their first date. Terrance McCoy, 24, pleaded no contest in Oakland County Circuit Court to charges of unlawfully driving away a vehicle. His date said he told her he forgot his wallet in her car and asked for the keys, then took off.
