Clara Bow, pictured, had a bright career as a sex symbol in the 1920s, but by the time she turned 28, she was washed up. Her rise and fall are charted in Hugh Munro Neely’s documentary “Clara Bow: Discovering the ‘It’ Girl,” tonight at the Hollywood Heritage Museum. Guess who narrates? Courtney Love. Starting Sunday, the New Beverly Cinema presents “The Greats of Roth,” a two-week festival programmed by Eli Roth, director of the horror flicks “Cabin Fever” and “Hostel.” Selections include “Torso,” “Creepshow” and “Cannibal Holocaust.” (newbevcinema.com). . . . Fudging one’s age in Hollywood now extends to films: Though “The Last Emperor” was released 21 years ago, the Egyptian Theatre is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Bernardo Bertolucci’s Oscar-winning film on Tuesday with a new digital presentation followed by Q&A; with cast and crew (americancinematheque.com).
