Japan’s economy exceeds forecast

Japan’s economy grew 0.9% in October to December from the previous quarter, government data showed, above market expectations for a 0.4% increase.
It translated into an annualized increase of 3.7%, compared with a consensus market forecast of a 1.6% rise.
