Wal-Mart workers can sue as a class

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. lost a ruling allowing as many as 145,000 former employees in California to sue as a group on claims the retailer shortchanged them on vacation pay.
A U.S. district judge in Oakland granted class certification to former workers who claim they didn’t receive any or all the vacation pay they earned when they left the Bentonville, Ark.-based company.
