Toronto 4, at Montreal 2: Darcy Tucker scored his second goal into an empty net and Vesa Toskala made 34 saves for the Maple Leafs.
at Ottawa 5, Florida 4: Dany Heatley had two goals and an assist in his return from a shoulder injury.
at Pittsburgh 4, N.Y. Islanders 3: Kris Letang scored the game-winner with 3:39 to play and the Penguins handed the Islanders a sixth consecutive loss.
Dallas 1, at Minnesota 0: Mike Smith stopped 25 shots and Niklas Hagman scored early in the third period for the Stars, winners of five in a row.
Tampa Bay 2, at Nashville 1 (OT): Vaclav Prospal scored at 58 seconds of overtime to give the Lightning the win. The victory was Tampa Bay’s sixth in a row on the road.
Columbus 2, at Phoenix 1: Jason Chimera and Nikolai Zherdev scored early in the first period to lead the Blue Jackets to their third win in a row over the Coyotes.
Chicago 3, at Calgary 1: Nikolai Khabibulin made 26 saves to improve to 19-5-2 against the Flames, his highest win total against any NHL opponent.
Ducks 4, at N.Y. Rangers 1: The Ducks are 2-3-1 on a club-record, nine-game trip that continues tonight in New Jersey.
Kings 5, at Detroit 3: The Red Wings’ eight-game win streak comes to an end.
