Bakersfield campaigning: An article in Sunday’s Section A about the presidential candidates’ campaigns in the Bakersfield area said that President Bush won California in the 2004 presidential election with 54.4% of the vote. Democrat John Kerry won the state with 54.4% of the vote. Bush received 44.4%.
