Record vs. Blue Jackets: 2-0-0.

Update: The Kings will face Columbus for the third time this month. The next goal the Blue Jackets score against the Kings will be their first this season: Jason LaBarbera recorded a 23-save shutout against them Dec. 6 and Jonathan Quick had a 24-save shutout Tuesday. Quick, who shut out Phoenix on Saturday, tonight will make his fifth consecutive start. Coach Ken Hitchcock addressed the Blue Jackets sternly after the loss to the Kings last week and his players responded Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Philadelphia in their return from the Christmas break.
