VS. DALLAS
Time: 12:30 p.m.
On the air: TV: Channel 5; Radio: 1260.
Where: Staples Center.
Records: Clippers 8-20, Mavericks 17-12.
Record vs. Mavericks: 1-1.
Update: The Clippers’ fortunes will (mostly) depend upon the availability of a certain No. 50, Zach Randolph. Randolph was injured early in the fourth quarter against Toronto on Monday, hurting his left knee. The Clippers, who haven’t played since then, are calling it a bruised left knee. Despite the rest period over the Christmas holiday, Randolph is listed as questionable for today’s game and practiced sparingly Saturday. With Randolph missing most of the fourth quarter Monday, the Raptors’ Chris Bosh scored 18 points in the period. But the Clippers were also without the key defensive presence of Marcus Camby, who was gone because of a death in his family. Camby has returned and was back at practice Friday. The Mavericks are coming off a flat effort in Friday’s loss at Utah, their first defeat in four games. In the teams’ last meeting, Dec. 2 at Dallas, the Mavericks scored 18 of the game’s final 22 points to win, 100-98.
