AMD to market new graphics card

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. will introduce a computer-graphics card today that it says delivers the fastest image processing on the market.
The Radeon 4870 X2, designed for video game players, will carry a price tag of $549, the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based chip maker said.
AMD hopes the technology will help it break a string of quarterly losses as it tries to tackle Nvidia Corp. in the market for high-end products that make computer-game images more realistic.
