Yankee batters: Granted, Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson are overpowering, but they’ve been outscored, 13-1, and outhit, 15-6, in the two games. They managed only three hits and advanced only one runner as far as second base against Johnson after getting only three hits against Schilling in the opener. It seems as if the Diamondbacks are the World Series veterans and the Yankees the nervous rookies.
