2 Die After Separate Traffic Accidents

Two people critically injured in separate traffic accidents Thursday have died of their injuries, authorities said.
Hanna Whittengton, 78, of Mission Viejo died at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. Orange County coroner’s officials said she was in a head-on collision on Alicia Parkway at Cypress Point. The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously injured, authorities said.
David Allen, 30, of Huntington Beach was pronounced dead at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange of his injuries from a crash in which his motorcycle collided with a truck in Huntington Beach, officials said.
