Cordaro Backs Greuel in Council Runoff

James Cordaro, who finished third in last week’s voting for City Council, endorsed Wendy Greuel Tuesday in the runoff election for the 2nd District seat.
She will face Assemblyman Tony Cardenas (D-Panorama City) in a March 5 runoff.
Cordaro, a Van Nuys electrical contractor and the only Republican who ran, said he was still angry about an incident in which he allegedly caught some of Cardenas’ volunteers taking down Cordaro campaign signs. Cardenas denied the allegations.
