Man Charged With Stealing MTA Bus

A 22-year-old Lynwood man was charged Tuesday with felony grand theft after he allegedly stole an MTA bus and led police on a two-hour chase through Los Angeles and Orange counties, prosecutors said.
Jose Luis Hernandez allegedly stole the bus just after 7:30 p.m. Friday near Hawthorne when the driver took a break, police said. The chase ended in Buena Park when the bus broke down.
