Fruit of the Loom Says Berkshire Bid Stands

Underwear maker Fruit of the Loom Ltd. expects an $835-million buyout offer from Berkshire Hathaway Inc. to remain unchallenged, a senior company executive said.
An auction planned for Tuesday was canceled after no bids were received by Friday’s deadline, which was set by a Delaware bankruptcy court.
