A Fairy-Tale Job Before ‘Smallville’

Sometimes it pays to wait. Kristin Kreuk was an unknown when she landed the lead role last year in the TV movie “Snow White: The Fairest of Them All.” By not scheduling it until March 17, ABC will now be able to tout her as Lana of the WB’s “Smallville.”
