Mayor Lois Berg and other mayors from coastal cities will update the Orange County Coast Assn. and the public on issues such as beaches, water quality, tourism and future development at a luncheon Jan. 6.
The mayors of Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Dana Point and Costa Mesa are expected to speak.
The event at the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, 151 E. Coast Highway, Newport Beach, begins with a reception and lunch at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will start at 12:45 p.m. Information and lunch reservations: (949) 660-8665, Ext. 3.
