South County Senior Services is seeking year-end donations to its Meals on Wheels program so it won’t have to place needy seniors on waiting lists in January. The program provides meals to needy and shut-in seniors but is only partially funded by the government and is operating at 1989 funding levels. Program officials said the number of seniors requesting the service increases by 15% each year. Information: (949) 498-0400.
