The Fullerton School District Board of Trustees recently accepted a $998,000 bid from Projective Development International, a Placentia contractor, to reconstruct Beechwood School, 780 Beechwood Ave.
The school has been closed for nearly two decades, though since 1981 it has housed the Fullerton Joint Union High School District office. It will reopen in September as a neighborhood school for about 275 students.
An informational public meeting and input session on boundary adjustment issues will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Ladera Vista Junior High School, 1700 E. Wilshire Ave. Information: (714) 447-7400.
